Dawn of Ragnarok is Assassin’s Creed’s “most ambitious expansion”, and it’s $ 40
The next big DLC for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has been announced, after many leaks over the past few months. But now it’s official: Dawn of Ragnarok launches in March 2022, and Ubisoft calls it “the most ambitious expansion in franchise history.” Considering the price, which is reminiscent of the price of the full expansion pack from older games, it probably should be.
Dawn of Ragnarok will launch on March 10, 2022 for $ 39.99 / £ 34.99. You will play as Odin, endowed with an array of divine powers to defend the dwarf kingdom of Svartalfheim. Baldr – Odin’s son – was imprisoned by the fire giant Surtr, so you’ll have personal stakes to guide you through the story as well.
As always, Ubisoft offers incentives to get you to buy early. Pre-orders will give you immediate access to the Twilight Pack, which includes a range of apocalyptic-looking cosmetics, including a fiery look for Synin and what appears to be a flaming wolf mount. (However, it doesn’t appear to be Fenrir in fact.)

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla title update 1.4.1 is coming very soon. Expect a plethora of new stealth and difficulty options, after a massive download that will end up reducing the size of the game on your hard drive.
