ChaosSearch Data Platform Now Available in the AWS Marketplace
ChaosSearch announced the immediate availability of the ChaosSearch Data Lake platform on the AWS Marketplace. ChaosSearch is designed to help AWS customers get to know each other better, while delivering the real promise of the data lake economy.
ChaosSearch indexes a client’s cloud data, making it fully searchable and enabling large-scale data analysis with massive reductions in time, cost and complexity. These unique capabilities have resulted in a year of hyper-growth for ChaosSearch, with AWS customers tripling, consistently high usage, and revenue rising over 700%.
Now, AWS customers can easily use the ChaosSearch solution directly from AWS Marketplace and as part of their existing AWS contracts.
ChaosSearch runs natively on Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) object storage, providing value-added services that deliver a great customer experience. While many businesses use Amazon S3 to stage data for other forms of analytical processing, ChaosSearch is designed to enable Amazon S3 to serve on-demand analytics, without requiring customers to move data or modify one of their existing analysis tools.
âOur customers rely on Amazon S3 to run their businesses. We’re making it easier for them to do with the data in their AWS environments – while spending a lot less, âsaid Ed Walsh, CEO of ChaosSearch.
âWith ChaosSearch, customers save up to 80% compared to other log analysis solutions, while enjoying unlimited retention and a fully managed service that frees up critical customer resources. We’re excited to make these features easily accessible to AWS customers on the AWS Marketplace. “
âChaosSearch provides a unique and important solution to help AWS customers extend the value of their Amazon S3 infrastructure. We look forward to helping ChaosSearch and our customers achieve even greater success with on-demand analytics of their data in Amazon S3, âsaid Mona Chadha, Director, AWS Marketplace Category Management, AWS.
ChaosSearch takes an entirely new approach to solving the problem of scanning enterprise logs at scale and in the cloud. While all other solutions require complex data pipelines consisting of parsing or schema modifications, ChaosSearch indexes all data as is, without transformation, while automatically detecting native schemas.
With its revolutionary approach, ChaosSearch overcomes the cost and complexity of competitive solutions, and delivers unlimited scalability, industry-leading resiliency, and significant time and cost savings.
Based on these capabilities, ChaosSearch is an ideal replacement for the Elasticsearch solutions commonly deployed today and business intelligence use cases. With ChaosSearch, customers can perform scalable log analytics on AWS S3, using the familiar Elasticsearch API for queries and Kibana for log analytics and viewing, while reducing costs, providing unlimited retention and by reducing complexity.
âSetting up our proof of concept and production environments was quick and easy. The ChaosSearch documentation made it easy to connect it to our source data in AWS, and the automatic discovery of our data’s schema allowed us to start querying the data from day one, âsaid Stephen Salinas, Engineering Manager, HubSpot .
Pricing and availability
Available now on the AWS Marketplace, the ChaosSearch Data Platform is offered as a managed service and priced based on the rate of data ingestion in Amazon S3. Customers typically experience up to 80% direct cost savings over a traditional log analytics solution such as the self-hosted ELK stack, as well as indirect savings through streamlined operations.
