The truck with the chrome wheels makes a smooth entry into the Grand Strand
HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Mash. It’s a mix of twin names belonging to the Floyd family.
Their personalities are quite tasty and they love their father’s Italian ice cream truck.
That’s why he named it after them – a mishmash of their names, Maci and Nash.
âSo MASH represents the names of my little boy and my little girls combined. So, Macy and Nash. The first two letters are his name, and the last two letters are his name and that’s how we create MASH, âsaid Brad Lloyd of his idea with his wife.
This is one of the Grand Strand’s newest trucks to the food truck scene and you can’t miss it.
“So we have blueberries, cherries, cotton candy, ice cream, mango, watermelon, strawberries, Swedish goldfish, piña colada, lemon … and so on. is pretty much it, âLloyd said.
He’s a lineman, but he also likes to keep busy. One of them was that he is doing it with his new business, which has now become a family affair.
âWe were at work and I’m always making something up … and I run into the truck. From there I started talking to the owner and bought the truck. Intending to do something similar, but not 100% sure [of what to do]”said Floyd.
He said the previous owner said it was a gray sheriff’s van. Now the truck sports a cotton candy blue paint with a cherry red stripe and chrome wheels.
The Floyd family runs their side business through a Facebook page. You can find his contact details here.
