Wrong Chrome extension cannot be uninstalled, crashes Chrome, synced between accounts
Hi apensity1,
A simple standard uninstall and reinstall will not solve the problem.
Try the following.
First of all, Right click a Google Chrome shortcut icon and select Properties
In the Shortcut tab of the Properties window, you will see that the “Target” line contains something like the following:
“C: Program Files (x86) Google Chrome Application chrome.exe”
Edit this line to add -incognito at the end, so that it looks like this: “C: Program Files (x86) Google Chrome Application chrome.exe” -incognito
Click on Apply and then on OK.
Now try to start Google Chrome – it should start in incognito mode with all extensions disabled. Save your favorites, then remove Chrome completely and reinstall it as per my article below.

Let me know how it goes.
